Stephanie Cuepo Wobby is a Filipino American writer and a former U.S. Army combat medic. She’s a 2022 graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Writing Program in the nonfiction concentration. She is currently working on a novel and a memoir, which has received support from Columbia University and the de Groot Foundation. She is represented by Naomi Eisenbeiss at InkWell Management.
She writes about the military and combat sports through a political and cultural lens. Her work has been published by Guernica, The Point, Victory Journal, and Off Assignment, amongst others. She has also done freelance work for Bloody Elbow, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, and Seven Days.
